How are leftover cents allocated?
Equal splits assign leftover cents to the first selected participants in group order. Shares always add up to the total and are visible before and after saving.
Does recording a payment send money?
No. It records a payment already made elsewhere and recalculates balances. An incorrect payment record can be deleted without changing the original expenses.
Are currencies converted?
No. Each group uses one currency: MXN, USD, EUR, GBP or CAD. Do not mix amounts from different currencies. Create a new group to use another currency.
Where is the data saved?
In this browser. Export a JSON copy containing names, expenses and payments to keep or share it. Importing replaces the local group after confirmation. There is no live synchronization.
Are suggested transfers always the minimum possible?
The mathematical minimum is not guaranteed. The deterministic net-balance proposal can settle all recorded debts.
