Google Sheets DAY function
Returns a date’s day of the month, from 1 to 31. In Spanish Sheets it is called DIA.
Syntax
English Sheets
=DAY(date)
Spanish Sheets (Mexico locale)
=DIA(fecha)
Spanish Sheets (Spain, Latin America)
=DIA(fecha)
| Argument | What it is |
|---|---|
| date | The date. |

Dates imported as text

In B2, turn the text (day/month/year) into a real date.
