num_daysHow many working days to add.
holidaysoptionalA range with the holidays.

Example

WORKDAY(start_date, num_days, holidays) adds working days to a date, skipping Saturdays, Sundays and the holidays you list. It is how "delivery in 5 business days" is worked out.

Frequently asked questions

What is WORKDAY called in Spanish?
In Spanish Google Sheets it is DIA.LAB. The formula =WORKDAY(B2,C2,$F$2:$F$3) is written =DIA.LAB(B2;C2;$F$2:$F$3) (or with commas under a Mexico locale).
Why does WORKDAY use semicolons in some spreadsheets?
It depends on each spreadsheet's locale, under File > Settings. Where the comma is the decimal mark (Spain, much of South America), arguments are separated by semicolons. Mexico and United States locales use commas.
What is the most common WORKDAY mistake?
It does not count the start date. Pin the holidays range with $ before copying.
